Press & Testimonials

“Following their 2025 national competition win, our organization had the privilege of touring with ZaRiah across Washington State. Throughout the tour, they represented the very best of what chamber music outreach can achieve: a seamless blend of world-class artistry and genuine human connection. ZaRiah possesses a rare, dual-threat chemistry; each member shines as a soloist, yet they come together with a resonant energy that fills every corner of the room. Whether in a concert hall or a classroom, they showcase a stylistic range that explores the vast possibilities of classical music. They don't just perform for an audience; they invite them in. For the students we visited, ZaRiah was a spark—illuminating how high-level music-making is a vibrant, joyful, and viable path to share with friends. They are as personable off-stage as they are electrifying on it.”

“Thank you so much for bringing our 7th and 8th graders at Alderwood Middle School the amazing quintet, ZaRiah, today. We had the great joy of witnessing our students imagine their own possibilities in seeing and hearing ZaRiah perform. People who looked like them were performing at the very top level, live, in their school. It is hard to quantify this impact, but I can tell you that the students I saw in class later in the day told me that they were mesmerized by the music. They noticed how each person had a chance to shine in the music and how you could hear the flute even when the others were playing! They said they didn't know the flute could sound so good. Same with the clarinet. Two kids asked me how they can go about getting an oboe and one wants the bassoon. Please share with the wonderful musicians how much they meant to us and our students today. I don't think they will forget this.”

We received so many messages from our patrons, board members and our staff how amazing you were in every setting. We are truly grateful that you agreed to come out to KC [Kansas City].”

— Dmitri Atapine & Hyeyeon Park, Artistic Directors, The Friends of Chamber Music Kansas City

“I cannot adequately describe the level of talent of these young people... Their level of skill with their instrument was so high that it is impossible to describe it.
